# National Small Business Association (NSBA) > The National Small Business Association (NSBA) is the nation's oldest small-business advocacy organization, representing America's small businesses before Congress and the federal government since 1937. NSBA is staunchly nonpartisan and reaches more than 65,000 small businesses. NSBA advocates on the federal policy issues that affect small business — taxation, health care, regulation, access to capital, and government contracting — and gives members the research, tools, and direct channels to make their voices heard in Washington.
