NSBA Congratulates Winners of 2024 Election
Washington, D.C. – The National Small Business Association (NSBA) applauds the winners of the 2024 elections and is urging policymakers on both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue to focus on the road ahead. Although not all races have officially been called, NSBA is first and foremost a nonpartisan organization, and we look forward to working with any lawmaker who is committed to supporting small-business priorities.
Below is a statement from NSBA President and CEO Todd McCracken on the elections.
“I’d like to congratulate all the new and returning lawmakers who won their races, and specifically President-Elect Donald Trump on his win. As the nation’s longest running small-business advocacy organization, I’d like to extend an open door to his administration as they begin the important transition process and move forward on efforts to move the U.S. economy forward.
“We take our marching orders directly from our small-business members, and one of the key concerns they face is the myriad tax hikes they will face if legislation isn’t enacted to protect them. The 2017 tax cuts ushered in by the first Trump Administration are set to expire after 2025 for most small businesses, and we look forward to working with the Trump administration on moving the ball forward on these policies and many more.
“While America’s small businesses are as diverse as the country we serve, we all share the common belief in the American dream. We look to our newly elected leaders for common-sense legislating, civility and a commitment to move the country forward.”
Celebrating more than 85 years in operation, NSBA is staunchly nonpartisan and uniquely member-driven. We advocate on behalf of America’s small-business owners and entrepreneurs. NSBA's 65,000 members represent every state and every industry in the U.S., and we are proud to be the nation’s first small-business advocacy organization. Please visit www.nsba.biz.
